Where I Can Help
You Don’t Have to Wait
Not everything needs to be a crisis to get support.
Sometimes it’s about feeling stuck, mentally overloaded or like things are harder than they need to be.
Counselling offers a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and find a way forward that actually feels manageable.
Common Reasons People Pause
You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear explanation. Most people come in with a mix of things, like:
Feeling overwhelmed, mentally overloaded, or close to burnout
Overthinking, anxiety, or struggling to switch off
Navigating change, uncertainty, or a loss of direction
Relationship challenges - with partners, family, or work
Wanting to communicate more clearly or feel better understood
Low mood, motivation, or feeling “not quite like yourself”
Perfectionism, people-pleasing or being hard on yourself
Adjusting to medical diagnoses, fertility challenges, or ongoing health issues
Struggling to stay organised, focused, or on top of things
Or simply wanting to feel clearer, calmer, and more in control
If you’re recognising yourself in any of these, you’re welcome to book a session or start with a quick call.
How I Work
My approach is practical, supportive and tailored to you.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT and mindfulness-based strategies - but sessions aren’t about jargon or rigid frameworks.
They’re about helping you:
understand what’s going on beneath the surface
develop practical tools you can use in everyday life
build resilience, clarity, and confidence over time
We move at your pace, focusing on what feels most helpful and relevant to you.
No two sessions are exactly the same.
Some might feel more reflective - making sense of patterns, thoughts or experiences.
Others might be more practical - working through strategies, tools or next steps.
You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right” words.
We simply start where you are.
What Sessions Might Look Like
Practical Support for Focus, Organisation & Overwhelm
For those navigating attention, organisation or feeling easily overwhelmed, sessions can also focus on practical systems and strategies to make daily life feel more manageable.
This might include routines, planning tools, or ways to reduce mental load - whether or not you have a formal ADHD diagnosis.
It’s completely normal to feel unsure about reaching out.
You don’t need to have the right words, a clear plan or everything figured out.
Most people simply start with what’s been on their mind - and we figure it out together from there.

What to Expect When You Start Counselling
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place in a quiet, private space.
There’s no need to prepare anything in advance - you can simply arrive as you are and we’ll start from there.
It can help to wear something comfortable and, if possible, allow a little time afterwards to reset before jumping straight back into your day.
Some people like to take a short walk, have a quiet moment or jot down a few thoughts, but there’s no right or wrong way to approach it.
We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable for you.
